When journaling it is important to remember to be as authentic as possible. We should write as though no-one will see it, it is for our eyes only. In order to be authentic and to get the most out of our journaling journey, we must be honest in our writing, no matter how hard that may be.
A good journaling prompt for a morning or evening journaling session might be 'What really makes me happy is......'
Sit quietly with a notebook, jounral or piece of paper. A the top of the page write the above prompt and then just write, put pen to paper and write freely. Don't worry about spelling, grammar or what your writing looks like, if it's bullet points, one page or several pages; just write.
